Their debut album Songs From The Heart was released in November 2004 and published by Tabitha Music. Songs from the Heart” was picked up by a number of independent record shops and downloading companies, as well as being played on BBC Radio several times.
Two of the tracks, Like I Used to Do, and Choices, were also featured as song of the day on UK Sounds, USA Sounds and OZ Sounds.
The Boys also had Promised Dreams and Choices played 86 times on USA “Critical Radio” by a DJ called Moonlight, all of which gave their music worldwide exposure. 2005 turned out to be a busy year with a tour of the local and not so local music festivals, plus concerts and pub gigs which were very well received.
The Boys From Melbourne Street are nowbuilding up a fan base of people who want to hear their original music played in an easy relaxed style that crosses all the divides, with fans being able to relate and connect with the lyrics, as well as the music.
